TSRTC driver dies of cardiac arrest in Hyderabad

A bus driver working with Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) at Miyapur Depot-1 has died of cardiac arrest. Erukala Lakshmaiah was a native of Marriguda of Nalgonda district.

This is the third such case in the city where the drivers died of cardiac arrest after being depressed over losing their job. In the first case, D Komaraiah (57), who was working as a driver at Chengircherla depot has died of a heart attack after suffering from depression. Komaraiah collapsed while taking part in the rally and was declared brought dead when shifted to the hospital.

In the second case, Sheikh Khaleel Miya who was working at HCU depot passed away in the Ramachandrapuram near Lingampally. Khaleel is learned to have suffered a stroke after returning home from a protest and was dead while shifting to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the TSRTC strike reached to 12th day with the protests and rallies being taken out by the workers.
