TSRTC mechanic dies of heart attack in Karimnagar

A TSRTC mechanic of Karimnagar Depot-2 dies of a heart attack on Wednesday. He is reported to have been upset after the chief minister issued the deadline to the workers.

Expressing grief over Karim Khan's death, all party leaders and RTC unions lashed at the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao making him wholly responsible for the death of RTC employees. "The government would have called the unions for talks instead of issuing deadline," fumed the RTC staff.

The government's stubborn attitude has taken the life of an employee, said the unions. "How many more deaths will make the government respond to the concerns of RTC employees," wailed Karim's son Asad Khan.

On the other hand, the chief minister called on the transport minister and other officials today to discuss over privatising RTC.
