TSRTC temporary driver booked for attempt to rape woman conductor in Mancherial

A case was registered on a temporary TSRTC driver for allegedly trying to rape a woman conductor in Mancherial.

According to the police, the driver, Srinivas did not stop the bus at the bus stops with an intention to sexually assault the conductor. He later took the empty bus to an isolated place and tried to sexually exploit her.

However, the conductor managed to escape from him and approached Jaipur police who registered a case against him and launched an investigation.

On the other hand, a district junior civil judge Raj Kumar has imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on a temporary driver for driving the vehicle in an inebriated state from Siddipet to Kamareddy. The driver Naresh was also sentenced to five-day imprisonment.
