Two constables suspended after being caught taking bribe in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Two constables were suspended by the Hyderabad commissioner of police after they were caught taking bribe from a fruit vendor. Gettings into details, the constables intercepted the fruit vendor's vehicle that was carrying fruits and demanded money for him.
A video of the incident that showed the constables demanding money from the vendor has gone viral on the social media platforms. Soon after the video became viral, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar suspended the constables Pancha Mukesh and Suresh of Afzalgunj police station who indulged in the act of misconduct.
"Placed under suspension with immediate effect: PC Pancha Mukesh and PC Suresh from Afzalgunj police station who were found indulging in an act of grave misconduct. Afzalganj Inspector has been given a charge memo for poor supervision and control. We are committed to public service," Anjani Kumar tweeted.
