Two held, Rs 14 lakh worth dry ganja seized in Uppal

The Uppal Excise officials took two ganja transporters P Sampath (34) and Ch Yakaiah (35) into their custody at Nagole Metro Rail Station in the latenight hours on Saturday. They have seized Rs 14 lakh worth 102 Kg dry ganja, a bike and two mobile phones from the possession of them.

Excise sleuths said, the accused were transporting dry ganja from the agency areas of Vishakapatnam to Hyderabad by targetting the students of different colleges in city outskirts with the intention of earning easy money. Police are making efforts to nab the other two absconded ganja suppliers.
