Two house burglars arrested in Warangal

Warangal: The police on Thursday arrested two youth involved in several thefts and seized jewellery worth around Rs 8 lakh and a motorcycle from them.

The accused were identified as 22-year-old Racharla Sai Vishal, residing near Santhoshi Mata temple, and 24-year-old Bolloju Sandeep, resident of Durga Colony. The duo used to target locked houses in the daytime.

According to police, earlier Vishal, a degree dropout, worked as a data entry operator in Hyderabad, where he got married to his Intermediate classmate. After the company which he was working with was closed in 2017, Vishal ran out of finances. Desperate to run his family, he was habituated to liquor. Against this backdrop, Vishal turned a thief.

He was involved in five thefts in Cyberabad area and had served a term in the prison in 2018. Thereafter, he shifted to Warangal where he befriended with Sandeep, a photographer. Since then the duo was involved in six thefts in and around Warangal. The duo was arrested during a vehicle checking near Venkatrama Theatre.

The Commissioner of Police V Ravinder commended the CCS inspector L Ramesh Kumar, Mills Colony Sub-inspector Bheemsh, CCS SIs BVS Rao, M Sanjeeva Reddy and others for apprehending the thieves.
