Two lorry drivers killed after collision at Nizamabad

Two lorry drivers were killed after the vehicles collided head-on on National Highway 44 near Balkonda in Nizamabad district in the wee hours on Friday.

According to the police, the two lorries were heading to Nirmal from Hyderabad and one of them rammed into another from the rear near Chittapur. The two drivers died on the spot and cleaners succumbed to injuries.

One of the drivers hails from Rajasthan and another belongs to Anantapur district. The injured were shifted to Nizamabad government hospital for treatment while the bodies were sent to Balkonda hospital for post-mortem.
