UGD works progress at a snail's pace in Kapra

Kapra: Under Ground Drainage (UGD) work in Kamala Nagar has been going at a snail's pace for the past one month.

Commuters and pedestrians are facing hardships because of the unfinished work.

Residents allegedly express ire over the lethargy of the officials concerned, as debris isn't being cleared.

The residents said officials, people's representatives and contractors are turning blind eye to their problem.

Especially, patients going to People's Welfare Trust Hospital at CPM office are facing difficulties with the piled-up mud on the road.

CPM leaders Srinivasulu, M Srinivas Rao and BV Satyanarayana urged officials to resolve the issue immediately.

They also threatened to stage dharna if the problem continues.
