Underground drainage soon in Nirmal

Nirmal: Forest and Environment Minister A Indrakaran Reddy stated that underground drainage will be constructed in near future and YSR function hall will be inaugurated in October in Nirmal.

He laid foundation stones for various developmental works with an estimation cost of Rs 592.80 lakhs in Nirmal town on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the TRS government is working for the development and welfare of the poor. The government is developing national highways, providing 24-hour water and electricity

supply, providing jobs to unemployed youth, pensions to widows and old aged people and physically challenged persons, he stated.

He urged everyone to plant saplings under the government's prestigious Haritha Haram programme.

After laying foundation stone for the park development works at Shyam Ghad Fort in Nirmal town, Minister Indrakaran Reddy said the Telangana government has taken up park development works in Shyam Ghad Fort with an estimation cost of Rs one crore. He laid foundation stones for the development works of Kancheroni Cheruvu with Rs 80 lakhs; YSR function hall construction with Rs 1.20 crores; CC roads development with Rs 41 lakhs at Bhudhavarpet, with Rs 56 lakhs in Naidupet, with Rs 93 lakhs in Bangalpet and with Rs 48 lakhs in Bhamhapuri.

District Collector M Prashanthi, Market Committee chairman Dharmaji Rajendar, FACS chairperson Ramakishan Reddy, District Library chairman Erram Rajendar, former municipal chairman Eshwar, Sridhar, Allula Muralidhar Reddy, Municipal DE Santosh and others were present.
