Veterinary doctor killed, body burnt in Hyderabad

A veterinary doctor identified as Priyanka Reddy was killed and then burnt by unidentified assailants here at Shadnagar under Hyderabad city limits. She was 22. The charred body of Priyanka was found at Chatanpalli bridge by the villagers who informed the police.

Priyanka who was working as a doctor at Kolluru in Nawabpeta mandal went to attend duty on Wednesday and did not return home. The police identified the dead body after Priyanka's father Sridhar Reddy recognised her.

The police registered a case and launched an investigation.

On September 5, 2019, a charred body of a woman was found at Parigi of Vikarabad district. The police said that the woman was murdered and her body was thrown at the area and set afire.
