Mulugu: The Congress activists led by Mulugu MLA Danasari Anasuya alias Seethakka staged rasta roko on national highway 163 at Eturnagaram in Mulugu district on Wednesday, in protest against the State government's failure to ensure supply of urea.

Speaking at the protest, Seethakka accused the government of being biased in supplying urea to some districts while ignoring others. "The districts represented by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members - Nizamabad, Sircilla, Medak and Karimnagar – have only got sufficient urea supplies," she alleged, questioning the rationale of the government.

Referring to the death of a farmer belonging to KCR's own district, who died while waiting in queue to purchase urea, Seethakka demanded an answer from the government.Time and again KCR said in the past that there would not be urea shortage in the State and no farmer has to wait in a line for it, she said, criticising the TRS government for its inefficient administration.

Referring to the budget, Seethakka said that the government failed to fulfil the aspirations of the people. "KCR is continuing to hoodwink the people," she said, stating that Telangana is in the hands of thieves. She said that Congress continue to fight against the TRS government on issues faced by the people.
