Utilise schemes introduced by KVK: MLA Satish Kumar
Saidapur: The people belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) must utilise the welfare schemes introduced through Krishi Vignana Kendram (KVK) for their betterment, appealed Husnabad MLA V Satish Kumar. He attended as a chief guest at a programme organised under the leadership of K Ramulu at Lasamannapalli village of Saidapur mandal and distributed sewing machines and power sprays to beneficiaries of SC community, which were sanctioned through KVK.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Satish Kumar said that it is a good thing that KVK came forward and sanctioned equipment to the poor people belonging to SC community for their survival and to develop them economically. The MLA assured the beneficiaries, who were sanctioned sewing machines, that cloth for sewing will be distributed on behalf of the government. He also assured of sanctioning CC road to Lasamannapalli village, which is newly upgraded as village panchayat. He appreciated the village sarpanch K Ramulu, who won award for implementing the 30-day Palle Pragathi programme perfectly in the village and suggested the scientists of KVK to take up such activities in all villages across the mandal and in the constituency.
ZP vice-chairman P Gopal Rao, MPP Prabhakar Reddy, KVK senior scientist Dr Venkateshwar Rao, fisheries scientist Prabhakar, housing scientist Prashanti, horticulture scientist Venugopal, MPDO Padmavathi, Tahsildar Devender Rao, vice-MPP Sridhar Reddy, single window president Raji Reddy and Thirupathi Reddy were present along with others.
