Uttam calls TRS candidates land grabbers, power mongers

Nidmanoor (Nalgonda): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president and party Nalgonda MP candidate N Uttam Kumar Reddy urged the people of the State to not to fall into the trap of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and KT Rama Rao and requested to support Congress party in the upcoming Parliament elections in the interest of the State and the nation.

Along with former CLP leader K Jana Reddy, Uttam participated in a poll campaign meeting in Nodmanoor mandal of Nagarjunasagar constituency in the district on Tuesday.

Addressing the party workers, he said the country has 542 Lok Sabha seats and of them Telangana has 17 MP seats.

He questioned both Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and KT Rama Rao as to how they can play a key role in national politics by winning 16 MP seats which is just 3 per cent of total Lok Sabha seats.

Stating that even though TRS had 16 MPs in last Lok Sabha nothing was achieved to the State, including promises made in AP Reorganization Act, he informed that KCR would do nothing to the State if he wins one or 16 seats.

He mocked at TRS MP candidates list and termed them as power mongers and land grabbers.

Stating that people of the nation were eagerly waiting to see Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister of the country, he called upon people of the State to support Congress candidates to achieve all pending promises and to get more funds to the State from the Centre.

He assured to develop all the Assembly constituencies of Nalgonda MP territorial on par with his own Assembly constituencies, Kodad and Huzurnagar.

He also assured to raise the issues of State and Nalgonda MP constituency on the floor of the Lok Sabha for necessary action, if voted to power.

In this meeting, party Nagarjunasagar constituency leaders and party workers across Nidmanoor mandal participated.
