Uttam couple campaign in Huzurnagar, Kodad, seek votes for Congress
Huzurnagar (Suryapet): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy urged the people to support the Congress in the upcoming ZPTC and MPTC elections in the district.
On Thursday, he participated in Parishad poll campaign at Lakkavaram, Srinivasapuram, Amaravaram, Gopalapuram and Vepala Singaram villages in Huzurnagar mandal. Addressing the people, Uttam said the TRS government did nothing for the people of State in the last five years. He questioned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao about the status of poll promises of double bedroom houses and 3-acre land to Dalits.
He informed that Congress did a lot for the development of villages and listed out various development activities carried out by the Congress in villages including laying of CC roads, construction of community halls, providing house plots and houses to poor.
He predicted that Congress will win all ZPTC and MPTC seats in Huzurnagar constituency. Party candidates Adinarayana Reddy, R Sowjanya , Saidamma, K Jayaraj, K Venkateshwar Rao, party Sarpanches, local leaders and villagers took part in the programme.
Similarly, in Kodad, former MLA N Padmavathi participated in a road show held at Munagala mandal headquarters and explained the people the need to support Congress in the upcoming polls. She recalled the development done in the villages in Kodad constituency during her tenure.
