Mellacheruvu ( Suryapet): TPCC chief and Nalgonda MP Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday stated that the Congress party will hoist party flag in majority municipalities in the State in the forthcoming municipal elections.

He was addressing at the swearing in ceremony organized for MPP K Padma, Vice MPP G Gopi Reddy and other elected members held at MPDO office at Mellacheruvu in the district. Speaking on the occasion, he called upon the party cadre to work hard to strengthen the party.

He felt that TRS could not keep single promise in past six months after it came to power in the State for the second time.

He said TRS failed to increase the aasara pensions and could not provide new pattadar passbooks to all the farmers in the State. He ruled out the comments of ruling party leaders about the disappearance of the party from the State and urged the party leaders and cadre to work hard to win Huzurnagar Assembly seat with record majority in the by election to give a strong reply to the ruling party.

He appreciated MPP K Padma and her team and advised them to get good name by rendering valuable services to the people of the mandal In this programme, MPDO Hussain, EOPRD Gyama Naik, Congress leader Shyamala Shiva Reddy and others participated.
