Uttam Kumar Reddy takes potshots at CM KCR, dubs him as 'Tughlak'
Hyderabad: Telangana Congress senior leader T Jeevan Reddy created a sensation by calling Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao a ' transgender' and the TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy branded KCR as ' Tughlaq' The Congress leaders alleged that the TRS chief took U turn on his resolve to fight against the Union government and fell on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's feet during his recent visit to New Delhi.
Participating in the day-long 'Rythu Deeksha' conducted by the Congress here in the city, Jeevan Reddy fired a salvo at KCR for giving up the fight against the controversial farm laws introduced by the Centre recently. He warned the Telangana farmers would revolt against the State government if remunerative prices is not provided to the farming community. "After returning from the Delhi, the CM turned as transgender ", the Congress leader commented.
TPCC President and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy also slammed KCR for backtracking against the new farm laws. The Chief Minister not only announced open support to Centre's anti-farmer laws, but also decided to scrap the procurement centres to purchase agriculture produce. He accused KCR govt of pursuing anti-farmer policies and said that the Chief Minister was ruling like a 'Tughlaq'.
Uttam disputed the claims made by KCR that the State government suffered a loss to the tune of Rs. 7,500 crore on the procurement of agricultural produce and sold the same at lower prices in the open market.
He said the TRS and BJP were two sides of the same coin and they were practising 'Gali Mein Kushti aur Delhi Mein Dosti' (Fighting in lane & friendship in Delhi) policy.
