Uttam owns responsibility for Congress defeat in by-poll

Hyderabad: Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said that he would take full responsibility for the defeat of the party in Huzurnagar by-election.

He participated in the core committee meeting of the PCC held at Gandhi Bhavan. The meet discussed the municipal elections, RTC strike, nationwide agitation against Centre's economic policies and Huzurnagar by-poll.

When the Huzurnagar issue has come up Uttam said that he would take full responsibility for the defeat of the party. He explained the conditions that have led to the defeat of the party.

He stated that the ruling party has misused the power and distributed money on a large scale in the election.
