Uttam promises ESI hospital for workers in Huzurnagar

Huzurnagar (Suryapet): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that he would make all out efforts to establish an ESI hospital in Huzurnagar for the welfare of working class.

On Wednesday, he participated in May Day celebrations, organised by INTUC at Huzurnagar. Addressing the gathering after hoisting the trade union flag, Uttam said the Congress governments worked a lot for the welfare of unorganised and trade union workers.

"Congress brought NREGS scheme and several welfare schemes for the welfare of daily wage earners and workers in industries," he said, promising to establish an ESI hospital at Huzurnagar for the health needs of employees and workers working at cement and rice industries of the region.

State general secretary of INTUC Y Naganna Goud, Congress leaders S Shiva Reddy, Mallikarjun, Guruvaiah, Savithri and a large number of INTUC supporters participated.

Later, Uttam participated in Parishad polls campaign at several villages of Nereducharla mandal of Huzurnagar constituency. Addressing the people, he urged the people to back Congress and teach a befitting lesson to Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his autocratic rule.
