Vemulawada: Lecturers told to increase strength

Vemulawada: Appreciating the efforts put up by the lecturers of Agraharam Government Degree College for increasing the strength, Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education Department Navin Mittal told them to strive hard further to admit more number of students.

He paid a sudden visit and inspected Agraharam Degree College at Vemulawada mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district on Wednesday. The Commissioner checked the college records and the progress of the college from the past few years along with the facilities provided for the students, teaching methodology of the faculty members, digital library, laboratories and digital classrooms and other facilities like drinking water and toilets provided in the College.

He expressed satisfaction by seeing the increased admissions in B Com course in the first phase of DOST and urged them to increase strength in other courses too and assured the faculty members that he would take initiation for sanctioning separate hostels for boys and girls belonging to Scheduled Caste.

College Principal Dr T Srinivas, vice-principal Dr Madhu Rajesh, IOAC coordinator Dr N Srinivasulu, Dr Afasari Usman, Dr Malla Reddy, Dr V Srinivas, Dr Rama Devi, Dr Bhadraiah, T Swaroopa, Dr Prabhakar, Keerthi Rajesh, V Venkateshwarlu, Y Narayana, Y Narsaiah, Malla Reddy and Narendar were present along with others.
