Venkaiah Naidu inaugurates platinum jubilee celebrations of AVV institutions in Warangal
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the three-day platinum jubilee celebrations of Andhra Vidyabhi Vardhini (AVV) institutions in Warangal.
He said that he was fortunate to step on the land that was the centre of Kakatiya's governance and was happy to take part in the celebrations. "From the beginning, Warangal has been a centre for good education, literacy, culture and agriculture," said Naidu congratulating the institution on the occasion of completing 75 years.
Naidu said that there is over 65 percent of youth in India. The country has the potential to provide manpower to the world for the next 35 years. However, the only thing that we need is to adapt to the changes in technology, he said.
"I firmly believe that the development of the country depends on the restoration of moral values and this is why I appeal to the central and state governments to bring this kind of education policy," he added.
Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao also said that he was happy to be the student of AVV institutions. The discipline and determination that he has now were learned from the institution, Errabelli said.
