Video conference on 2021 census held in Nizamabad
Nizamabad: District Collector M Ram Mohan Rao has asked the census director to appointment assistant city planners as charge officers for the census. State Census Director Ilambarthi held a video conference from Hyderabad on Thursday with district Collectors on Thursday.
He explained the details of the 2021 census. Several suggestions have been made for the appointment of Census Officers. The director said the details of villages incorporated in the municipality along with the newly created village panchayats should be recorded in the respective sample forms.
Ilambarthi said the geographical elements should be sent from A to E with accurate information. Collectors were ordered to send the information by December 31 only after verifying the accuracy of the information. He added that there was no chance of any changes after that. Similarly, those who have been appointed as master trainers are to be released by November 24.
He said training for master trainers is important. Once the master trainers are on duty, they should immediately train the enumerators, he added. He appreciated that the census arrangements in Nizamabad district along with other districts are well under way.
Addressing the gathering, District Collector M Ram Mohan Rao said that clarification be made on the dates of the sample forms 2017 instead of 2019. Similarly, there are no additional commissioners and deputy commissioners to be appointed as charge officers.
They have been asked to appoint Assistant City Planners to replace them. Census Director Ilambarthi said that the proposal was sent from the district. He thanked the census work for the district.
The video conference was attended by District Revenue Officer Anjaya and Municipal Commissioner John Samson ME. Anand Sagar, Karnakar, Municipal Commissioners Gangadhar, Swami, Shailaja and others.
