Vikarabad: Deworming exercise on Feb 10, 17

Vikarabad: District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam has directed the officials concerned to administer Albendazole tablets on February 10to all the people aged between 1 and 19 years. Speaking at the district coordination committee meeting, the Collector said administering of the medicine had been taken up as part of National Deworming Programme. "Give the medicine again on 17th of this month for those who missedit in the first phase," she said. Officials were also asked to take up awareness programmes for the students about the ill-effects of the worms and also teach them the benefits of washing hands before meals.

DM&HO Dasharath, officers of the SC, ST, BC welfare Vijayalakshmi, Kotaji, Pushpalatha, DWO Jyotsna, programme officer Dr Lalitha, Dr Saibaba, Dr Aravind, Dr Maria, mass media officer Vimala and others were present.
