Vikarabad: Top cop allays fears on Virus Isolation Center

Vikarabad: About 30 people, though not infected with corona disease are under observation at "Corona Virus Isolation Center" at Ananthagiri Haritha Resorts, said District SP Narayana in the media conference held here on Monday.

"These 30 people are from 7 countries. These 30 people will be staying at the resorts for 14 days. If the virus is positive during these 14 days, they will be rushed to the Gandhi hospital,'' the SP said.

He clarified that the 30 people in the resorts are not infected with the virus and the people of Vikarabad need not be panic. He warned that cases will be booked if anyone found spreading rumours on social media and whatsapp groups.

Persons in the "Corona Virus Isolation Center" are kept in a special observation under the auspices of the District Collector. People have to maintain cleanliness. So far, no cases have been registered against the protesting leaders in Vikarabad town. Since there is a health emergency, it is best for everyone to take care of all matters of health.

The SP also clarified that it was a lie that a woman in Vikarabad was infected with corona virus. "People need not be afraid. The woman had no Corona virus . The woman came to Vikarabad from another country two months ago. Four other persons from Vikarabad district came overseas two months ago. They are not infected with the corona virus. We arranged the CCTVcameras in every room of the Haritha Resorts and observing them time to time for medical services," the SP said.

All the people who are under observation belong to Telangana State.
