Villagers felicitate former sarpanch for his gesture

Patancheru: Former Sarpanch Shankar Reddy on Tuesday made a donation of Rs.2.5 lakh for installing CC cameras, Rs 10 lakh for developing graveyard and Rs.1 lakh for taking up development works in Inole village, of Patancheru mandal.

He made this gesture after participating in a meeting on the 30-day action plan of village development mooted by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Reddy was felicitated by the village committee for his gesture.

Addressing the meeting, he commented that it was a matter of pleasure to contribute to the village development, while calling upon every villager to do their bit in emulating his example of contributing money.
