Villagers offer prayers to appease Rain God in Kamareddy

Kamareddy: Deficit rainfall is worrying the people of Kamareddy district, especially the people of Pitlam mandal, which is in dire straits. People of many villagers offered special prayers for rain on Monday. In Bandapally and Annaram villages, people along with children took out a rally carrying pots filled with water. They worshipped rain God. The people of Pitlam mandal were doing special pujas every day, seeking rains.

They were even conducting rallies. A rally with 108 bikes was held in Burlapur village on Friday.

The people are worshipping every God praying for rains. In the villages of Bandapalli and Annaram in Pitlam mandal, people offered 'jala abhishekam' to all the Gods.
