Peddemul: Roads in the district are testing the patience of commuters. In some areas, roads are in horrible condition posing danger to the drivers. The temporary service roads and diverted roads at construction sites are also in bad condition.

The roads turn muddy and slushy in case of rains. The condition gets even worse if it heavily rains. A service road at Buddaram village is an example for such condition. The service road is laid on temporary basis, as the bridge work has been going on for some time. This road is very important because it leads to Kotpalli, Sangareddy, Zaheerabad, Sadashivpet from Tandur.

A large number if vehicles including buses, cement laden trucks, vehicles transporting granite stones pass through this road. They have to divert on the service road which is not in a condition to bear the traffic. During rains, people of Gopalpur are cut off from the world, as there is no scope for transportation.

A resident of Gopalpur said students, pregnant women, aged people are worried a lot to pass through this stretch. The villagers expressed anger over the negligent attitude of the officials and contractor for delaying the completion of the bridge.
