Villages in Jukkal constituency cut off due to rains

Jukkal: Sudden downpour in Jukkal constituency for the past two days had disrupted public life.

Paddy, sorghum and maize crops were destroyed.

Madhunur, Sirpur and Pedda Takli villages have been cut off from other villages.

Water is overflowing on a bridge at Chinna Takli as Lendi river is overflowing.

The backwaters of Lendi project has become dangerous.

In Jukkal constituency, about 15,000 acres of crops were submerged in rainwater.

Agricultural experts estimated crop damage of about Rs 10 crores.
