Visa brings flagship initiative to Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Visa Inc, a digital payments technology company, said it introduced its flagship programme, Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI), in Hyderabad.

Through the programme, Visa will identify and collaborate with fintech startups to produce solutions in digital payments. The company said it will accept applications till December 25, 2019.

T R Ramachandran, Group Country Manager, India & South Asia, Visa said: "Technology and talent are abundant in Hyderabad.

With the initiative in place, we seek to empower and partner with fintech's that are capable of making a difference in the way India pays."

The VEI programme will offer fintech's access to mentorship.

Besides, the shortlisted startups will get an opportunity to showcase the proposed solutions to an expert panel in March 2020. The winners will receive a prize money of Rs 35 lakh, it added.
