Vishweshwar accuses TRS of making impractical promises
Hyderabad: Chevella Congress party candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy on Monday alleged that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party leaders were making impracticable promises to the people of the State in order to win MP seats.
He said that people of the State would not forgive those who cheat them. He said that it had become a habit for the ruling party leaders to make false promises to win the seats.
He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was trying to ensure that any leader from Chevella does not question his actions.
Participating in a meet the press programme held at Somajiguda press club here, he said that the Congress party had kept its word on farm loan waiver scheme and added that it had kept the word by waiving the farm loan in one go.
He alleged that TRS working president K T Rama Rao was bringing people from other districts to Chevella in order to make his public meetings succeed in the constituency. He said that 70 farmers had committed suicide in Chevella constituency.
He made it clear that the fight was not between a local leader and a non-local leader but for the development of the entire district.
Commenting on the minority community support, he said that minorities were supporting the Congress party in the elections.
