Voting for BJP, Congress is waste: Harish Rao
Medak: Former minister T Harish Rao said on Tuesday that the BJP and the Congress candidates would not get deposits in the polls. Voting for these parties would be of no use and voting for the TRS will help develop Telangana State, he said.
Addressing a public meeting for TRS MP candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy in Medak segment, Harish said the two national parties had miserably failed to keep their promises. They did not implement schemes for welfare of people and involved in corruption, he said. Harish appealed to the people to vote the TRS to win 16 MP seats to have voice heard in the Parliament. By winning 17 MP seats, including one of the MIM, the TRS will have its say at national level to get adequate funds, the former minister felt.
On completion of Kaleshwaram project, the State government would plan to irrigate about one lakh acres in Sanga Reddy district. He also said a bus depot with all other facilities will be set up.MLAs Padma Devender Reddy, Madan Reddy, former minister Sunitha Lakshma Reddy and others were present.
