Wanaparthy cops nab notorious bike lifter
Wanaparthy: The Wanaparthy police on Thursday arrested one person involved bike thefts cases which he carried out in the last few days in Wanaparthy district. According to sources, Talla Naresh Goud of Jangamaipally village in Peddamandadi of Wanaparthy district was caught by the patrolling team of Wanaparthy police on Thursday while he was found suspiciously riding on a bike from Bhageeratha Colony in the district.
The police, who were already on the lookout for the bike thief, grew suspicious of his act and stopped him for questioning. As the person could not give credible answers, the police took him into custody and later revealed that he was the person who was involved in various bike theft cases. It is said that Naresh Goud had also earlier jailed for bike theft offence. After his release from the jail, he continued the stealing of parked bikes.
After investigation, the police recovered 3 bikes from the accused, and sent him for the judicial remand. Presenting the accused before the media, Wanaparthy Town Sub-Inspector Surender cautioned the general public not to park their bikes on the roads. He advised the residents of Wanaparthy who are parking their vehicles outside their houses to see to it that they park their bikes inside their houses and lock them securely. Wanaparthy SP Apoorva Rao commended the efforts of the patrolling team in nabbing the bike thief.
