Wanaparthy: Officials get a pat for successful implementation of action plans
Wanaparthy: Expressing his satisfaction over the successful implementation of 30-day and 15-day action plan programmes in villages and municipalities, Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, taking part in a review programme in Wanaparthy on Monday, hailed the efforts of all the officials involved in the programme and for making them a big success.
However, the Minister stressed that the officials with the same momentum must chart out a continuous action plan and implement all the government schemes without fail.
"I congratulate all the officials, public representatives and the people at the village and municipal levels who have really worked hard and made the action plan programmes at village and urban levels a grand success. I wish you carry the same momentum and ensure all the government schemes are implemented cent per cent so that the fruits of these schemes reach every beneficiary," observed the Minister.
He also stated that the programme has instilled confidence among the people that the officials and the public representatives are working for their welfare. He said out of a total of 255 gram panchayats in Wanaparthy district, already the government has supplied tractors to 195 panchayats.
"The government is ready to provide what all facilities needed for Panchayats. However, it is high time we regularly conduct reviews on development activities at least once in two months and accordingly upgrade," said the Minister.
He directed the Mission Bhagiratha engineers to ensure every household gets tap connection, and complete the works by December-end. The Minister directed the MPPs, ZPTCs, and Sarpanches to visit the villages along with the Assistant Engineers and supervise the works. He also asked the officials not to pay the Mission Bhagiratha bills to contractors without the consent of District Collector. Asking the officials to complete the construction of double bedroom houses in Wanaparthy by December-end, Singireddy stated that Wanaparthy district was leading in the State when it came to setting up of dumping yards and issuance of tractors to gram panchayats.
