Warangal: Counting of parishad votes today
Warangal: The Warangal Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil inspected arrangements for the counting of parishad votes scheduled for Tuesday (June 4). The Collector, who inspected counting centres on Monday, expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
He said that counting of votes of zilla parishad territorial constituency (ZPTC) and mandal parishad territorial constituency (MPTC) belonging to Elkathurthy, Bheemadevarapally, Hasanparthy and Kamalapur mandals will be done at VMR Polytechinc College in Rampur. The counting of votes of Dharmasgar, Velair and Inavole mandals will take place at TSWREIS school at Madikonda.
As many as 205 supervisors and 411 counting assistants have been deputed for the counting process, the Collector said. In Urban district, polling held for 86 MPTC seats and seven ZPTC seats. The total number of votes polled is 1,73,628. Zilla parishad CEO Vijayagopal, RDO K Venka Reddy, minority welfare officer M Srinu, tahsildars Nageshwar Rao and Bhavu Singh were among others present.
