Warangal: Khadri takes part in Kathmandu meet

Warangal: The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) State president Syed Vali Ullah Khadri, a former student leader of Kakatiya University, who actively participated in Statehood agitation, took part in the 9th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of Solidarity with Cuba held in Kathmandu, Nepal, held on July 26 and 27.

Khadri is one among the 37 prominent persons from India, who participated in the conference. In all, 450 representatives from 25 Asian countries including two former Prime Ministers of Nepal Madhav Kumar Nepal and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, and Aleida Guevara, daughter of Argentine Marxist revolutionary leader Che Guevara.

Speaking at the conference, Khadri condemned US government's offensive against Cuba, Venezuela and Palestine. During the conference, a resolution demanding intervention of the United Nations (UN) to stop the highhandedness of the US was passed, he said. The conference felicitated leaders who have been working for the world peace, and issues pertaining to education, health and employment.
