Warangal: Korean textile firm officials visit Kakatiya Mega textile Park site

Warangal: The Youngone Corporation of Korea has decided to set up its unit at the Kakatiya Mega textile Park coming up in Sangem mandal of Warangal rural district. Kihak Sung, founder of Youngone Corporation, has on Wednesday inspected the textile park, along with Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao.

The Youngone which acquired 290 acre in the park is to set up manufacturing units of synthetic jackets, boots, track suits and other apparel used in trekking. The Youngone would set up eight units and it is likely to provide direct and indirect employment to nearly 12,000 people, the officials said. Speaking on the occasion, Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that Textile Park would augur well for the industrial development in the region within a short period.

The Minister and Warangal Rural District Collector M Haritha also inspected the ongoing works related to infrastructure in the Textile Park. The Minister directed the officials to expedite the works and enable the entrepreneurs to begin their activities. Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy and Zilla Parishad Chairperson G Jyothi were among others present.
