Warangal man who travelled to Delhi admitted with coronavirus symptoms
A man hailing from Warangal district has been admitted to MGM hospital on Wednesday with suspected coronavirus symptoms. The hospital authorities collected his samples and set them to Gandhi Hospitals for tests. It is learned that the man came to Warangal from Delhi one week ago.
On the other hand, seven Indonesian nationals who visited Karimnagar tested positive for the virus. Another person who arrived in Hyderabad from Scotland also tested positive for the virus taking the total count to 13.
Around medical 100 teams have been sent to Karimnagar to monitor the situation. These teams will be visiting every house and conduct the tests. The health authorities also planning to restrict some areas if necessary. Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked the public to be on alert and advised to stay indoors.
Due to the sudden rise in the cases, the Chief Minister has called on a meeting today to review the situation in the state. It is learned that around 276 NRIs have been tested positive for the coronavirus. In Delhi, a man who is infected by the coronavirus has committed suicide while a positive case has been reported in the Army.
