Warangal: Ph.D. awarded to KITSW scholar

Warangal: Talla Mallikarjun, a research scholar of Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal, (KITSW) has been awarded Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph D) by the KL University, Vijayawada, for his thesis on "Analysis of water and removal of lead from wastewater using ash sorbents and study of metal complexes using Schiff bases."

Mallikarjun carried out his research work under the combined supervision of D. D Prabhakara Chary, Associate Professor of Chemistry, Department of Physical Sciences, KITSW and Dr IV Kasiviswanath, Associate Professor of Chemistry in KL University. KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that Mallikarjun's research work, which is directly strong linked with engineering & chemical technology with respect of efficient query processing, is of immense help for the protection of environment and green technology.
