Warangal: TRS loyalists to get their due

Warangal: The TRS leadership will take care of its loyalists, MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy and Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhaskar said. Speaking at the party membership drive here on Monday, Pochampally Srinivas Reddy said that TRS leadership is keen to honour its loyal leaders and activists by providing them with nominated or with party posts.

"Efforts are on to link all the phone numbers of the party workers constituency-wise with the TRS State headquarters so that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and TRS working president KT Rama Rao could interact with them en masse," Pochampally said.

Referring to the party membership drive, Vinay Bhaskar said that the target is to enrol 60,000 from the Warangal West constituency. He told the leaders not to worry about their political future as the TRS leadership is firm to assist them besides bestowing suitable posts to them.

"People, who were benefited and inspired by the TRS government's welfare schemes and programmes, are keen to join the party," Vinay said, referring to an IT employee, Ravali, of Hyderabad, who is willing to take party membership. We will definitely reach our membership target before the drive ends on July 10, he added.

Talking on the ongoing works that give a facelift to the city, he said that work on development of Public Gardens with an outlay of Rs 12 crore is progressing fast.

On the occasion, Vinay presented a cheque for Rs 2 lakh to the parents of nine-month-old infant, who was molested and killed by a pervert a few days ago. It may be mentioned here that Vinay had announced to donate his one-month salary to the victim's parents. MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy said that he would also give one-month salary to the victim's parents. Both the leaders said that they have met the Telangana Chief Justice and urged him to provide speedy justice to the victim's parents.

Mayor Gunda Prakash Rao, Deputy Mayor Khaja Sirajuddin, Vikalangula Cooperative Corporation chairman K Vasudeva Reddy, Farmers Debt Relief Commission Nagurla Venkateshwarlu and KUDA chairman Marri Yadava Reddy were among others present.
