Weather in Telangana: Marked rise in night temperatures

Weather in Telangana: The night temperatures registered a marked rise by 4.1 degrees Celsius or more in some parts of the Telangana State during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Wednesday, according to the IMD bulletin. It said the temperatures were markedly above normal by 5 degrees Celsius or more in some parts. They were appreciably above normal by 3.1 to 5 deg C and below normal by -1.6 to -3 deg C in some other parts.

The lowest minimum temperature of 13.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Medak. The other temperatures registered elsewhere in the Telangana State were: Nalgonda 15, Adilabad 16.2, Nizamabad 18.6, Dundigal 19.2, Ramagundam 20, Hakimpet 20.8, Bhadrachalam 21, Hanamkonda 21.5, Hyderabad 21.6, Khammam 22, Mahbubnagar 22.3.

The bulletin warned of shallow fog/mist likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Telangana during early morning hours of Thursday. the forecast is generally cloudy sky with light rain. Fog/mist in the morning and partly cloudy sky later is the forecast for January 8,9 and 10. The night temperatures are likely to be 19, 18, 18 respectively during the three days.
