Weather Update: Birkoor in Kamareddy district records 10 cm of rain

Low pressure area in Bay to bring heavy rain for three days

Weather Update in Telangana: Heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Kamareddy, Kumaram-Bheem, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Adilabad districts during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Wednesday, with Birkoor ( Kamareddy district) recording 10 cm, while Sirpur (Kumaram-Bheem) received 9 cm.

The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm ) were: Medchal 8, Talamadugu (Adilabad) 7, Wankdi (Kumaram- Bheem), Shamirpet ) 6 each, Yedapalle (Nizamabad), Bazarhathnoor (Adilabad), Makloor (Nizamabad), Tamsi (Adilabad), Mirdoddi (Siddipet), Tekmal (Medak) 5 each, Jogipet (Sangareddy) , Narayankhed (Sangareddy), Dilawarpur (Nirmal), Mudhole (Nirmal), Boinpalle (Rajanna Sircilla), Kerameri (KumaramBheem) 4 each.

There were 3 cm each rain in Chandur (Nalgonda), Bhuvanagiri (Y. Bhuvanagiri), Narmetta (Jangaon) , Dharmaram (Peddapalle), Hyderabad 3, Shadnagar (RR), Bejjur (Kumaram-Bheem), Gandhari ( Kamareddy), Sarangapurnrl (Nirmal), Machareddy (Kamareddy), Ranjal (Nizamabad), Bachhanpet ( Jangaon), Navipet (Nizamabad), Peddemul (Vikarabad). Two cm rain each was recorded in Utnur (Adilabad), Palakurthi (Jangaon), Gambhiraopet (Rajanna Sircilla), Nandipet (Nizamabad), Nirmal, Adilabad,, Dubbak (Siddipet), Ramannapeta (Y. Bhuvanagiri), Domakonda (Kamareddy), Saroornagar, Dahegaon (KumaramBheem), Yadagirigutta, Banswada ( Kamareddy), Kondapak (Siddipet), Kamareddy, Sriramsagar, Armur (Nizamabad), Devarakonda ( Nalgonda), Hakimpet, Raghunathpalle (Jangaon), Alladurg (Medak), Medak. Meanwhile, the State reported maximum temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above at a few places with highest of 42.3 deg C in Medak.
