Wife and her kin kill drunkard husband in Peddapalli

Peddapalli: The wife killed her drunkard husband with the help of her parents and bother. The incident took place on Sunday night in Peddapalli.

According to police, Syed Khalim and Asra Begum got married 11 years ago. Khalim worked on contract basis at RFCL in Ramagundem for some time and later left the job to become an auto driver. He began binge drinking and started to beat her wife, and so the wife left him and came to her mother's place in Peddapalli.

Khalim used to come often and quarrel with his wife. He came again on Sunday and after a fight he slept on the bed. The wife, along with his parents hit him with rocks and the husband died on the spot. The murder came to light late as the house was away from the village.

The wife, her parents and brother are still absconding. With the help of victim's father, the police registered the case.
