Will continue to support TRS: Jitender Reddy

Hyderabad: Mahbubnagar sitting MP A P Jitender Reddy, who was denied ticket by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), said that he would continue to be in the party.

Jitender Reddy said that he had no answer for the question on why he was denied ticket.

He added that he would be in the party and follow the instructions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. "If the MLAs think that I have not supported them, I leave that to their conscience," said Jitender Reddy.

Jitender Reddy said that after being in foreign countries for 25 years, he came into politics. "I have been with people even when I did not get ticket. I won as MP in the year 1998 and 1999. I joined TRS supporting the Telangana agitation.

During 2009, K Chandrashekar Rao wanted to contest from Mahbubnagar and I was shifted to Chevella, where I lost with 9,000 votes. I will accept the decision of high command, I have total confidence on TRS chief," Jitender Reddy said.
