Will maintain Constitutional relations with Centre: KCR
Hyderabad: Supporting the one nation one election proposed by the Centre, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said TRS working president KT Rama Rao will attend the meeting convened by the Centre since he would be busy with the inauguration of Kaleswaram project.
Reiterating that his government will maintain constitutional relations with Centre, he said, "we are not part of NDA. I proposed Federal Front, I still stick to it. We will maintain constitutional relations with the Centre.
People gave chance to Modi in the country and to TRS in the State. I was the one who targeted Modi calling him Fascist when seven mandals were shifted to Andhra Pradesh," the Chief Minister said.
Chandrashekar Rao clarified that the Centre did not given single rupee additional to the State. "I did Operation Blue star to Amit Shah and he ran away not giving any reply. Centre has not given any additional funds to State.
NITI Aayog asked Centre to pay Rs 24,000 crore to Telangana government but they did not give a single rupee. This time around we will be happy if they give otherwise, we will go ahead with our plans," he said.
The Chief Minister said two national party governments have utterly flopped in solving the issues of the State. "The Brijesh Kumar Tribunal was appointed in 2004 and today it is 2019 and still it has not resolved the water dispute.
If it takes two decades to resolve an issue, when the projects will be getting completed? I told this to Jagan and said we can resolve by ourselves and he happily agreed," claimed the Chief Minister.
He said even the BJP leaders had difference of opinion. "Maharashtra Chief Minister told me that Gujarat Chief Minister, though he is from our party is not solving water dispute and he had asked him to learn from Telangana Chief Minister," he said referring to the comments of Devendra Fadnavis.
The Chief Minister lashed out at Union Minister G Kishan Reddy for stating Hyderabad has become a den for terrorist. "He (Kishan Reddy) has become a big joke as people are laughing at him.
There have been no communal incidents or blasts in Telangana during the last five years. How can a responsible person talk like this," he said.
Replying to a question, the Chief Minister said the TRT issue was already solved. He said the government has agreed to solve the issue and already it is in pipeline.
