With 983 new cases, Telangana Coronavirus tally surges to 14,419

Coronavirus in Telangana: There is no respite to Telangana as far as Covid-19 cases are concerned. Continuing with the trend of the last ten days, 983 new cases were reported in Telangana in the last 24 hours. With the big spike of cases, Telangana's Coronavirus tally so far rose to 14,419. Also, four deaths were reported and 244 patients who recovered and were asymptomatic were discharged.

GHMC reported 816 coronavirus cases among the fresh cases. Ranga Reddy with 47 cases, Mancherial with 33 and Medchal with 29 cases followed GHMC in most cases.

Meanwhile, after serving corona patients for almost four months without break, Gandhi Hospital will be joined by TIMS, Gachibowli, the new facility to admit Covid infected patients. Health Minister Eatala Rajender announced that in-patients would be admitted in the new hospital from Monday onwards. It has over 1,200 beds with 1,000 beds equipped with oxygen lines and 50 having ventilator support.
