As witnessed in some segments, spouses of the candidates are now star campaigners for the party in that said segment. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president A Revanth Reddy, who is contesting from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha segment, also entrusted the responsibility of monitoring poll campaign to his wife Geetha. Geetha played an active role in Revanth Reddy's Assembly elections campaign in the just concluded assembly elections. Reddy contested from Kodangal Assembly segment but got defeated.
Close knit family members of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) candidates G Ranjit Reddy (Chevella), M Rajashekhar Reddy (Malkajgiri), M Srinivas Reddy (Mahbubnagar), Sai Kiran Yadav contesting from Secunderabad Lok Sabha segments are already actively campaigning for their candidates.
Majority of the leaders are of strong view that wives and close relatives will deliver the objective of their victory as they only fulfil the task set by the party during the poll campaign.
