Woman climbs atop cell tower in Nalgonda over property dispute

A woman climbed atop cell tower on Saturday morning here at Kadaparthi mandal of Nakirekal after a quarrel with her co-wife.

Anjamma lost her husband, Somaiah eight years ago who segregated his two acres of land to his two wives equally. Recently, the woman ploughed the entire land which ensued to the quarrel with her co-wife who objected Anjamma ploughing her land.

As the dispute was not settled, the woman climbed the tower demanding justice to her. The villagers tried to pacify Anjamma but in vain. Later, they informed the police and firefighters who brought the woman down.
