Woman cop,agricultural officer engage in fistfight

Khammam: A fight between a lady constable and an agricultural officer (AO) led to tension at Ramakrishnapuram polling centre of Chinthakani mandal. According to sources, the agricultural officer, Anil, allegedly denied the request of a lady constable, Joshna, who was on election duty, to leave the polling centre after voting.

The agriculture officer threatened her stating that she was just a constable and should respect him as he is an AO. The argument quickly turned physical with the lady constable slapping the AO and the AO and the other villagers pushing the lady constable to the ground. The police higher officials quickly interfered and tried to calm both the parties.

Both the AO and the lady constable filed complaints against each other. The AO has been requested by the polling officers to leave the polling premises to which he obliged. The police officers received both the complaints and started the investigation.
