Woman, daughter hurt after being hit by car in Hyderabad

A man in an intoxicated state rammed his car into a woman and daughter injuring them here on Tuesday night under Rajendranagar police station limits.

Getting into details, the woman Tabassum Begum (42) and her daughter Mihnaz (21) were waiting at the metro pillar number 199 to return home after visiting DMart when a car with registration number (TS13UA6014) rammed into them. The injured were shifted to a hospital.

Locals caught hold of the accused when the accused Jishan (27) was trying to escape from the spot. He was handed over to the police.

The Rajendranagar police subjected the accused to undergo breathe analyser test and confirmed that he was in drunk state. They registered a case against Jishan and are investigating.
