Woman falls while boarding train in Hyderabad, dies

A 20-year-old woman died accidentally after falling under a train here at Lingampally railway station on Monday.

Pushpitha Shah was pursuing studies in Vijayawada. While boarding Amaravati express at the Lingampally railway station, she accidentally slipped under the train and died.

The railway police shifted her body to Osmania General Hospital (OGH) for post-mortem. The police registered a case and are trying to find out the whereabouts of the woman.

On July 3, a 22-year-old woman fell off a moving MMTS train while trying to pick her fallen phone at Begumpet railway station. She was identified as Ashwini, a resident of Sithaphalmandi.
