Woman thief arrested, Rs 8 lakh booty recovered in khammam

Khammam: Three town police on Friday arrested an alleged woman thief and recovered Rs 8 lakh worth of ornaments from her, according to Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal here on Friday.

The accused was identified as S Nirmala from Dhanvaigudem in the district. She was involved in a number of thefts in the district, he said.

The police arrested her when she was moving in suspicious manner in the town, he said.
